A wonderful and generous student in my homeroom class purchased a gift for me – Tintin in the Congo. I’ve talked about Tintin a few times in class, and I’m proud of the collection of Herge books I managed to salvage from a library before they were thrown into the dustbin, but I was amazed she was able to get a copy. I’ve never seen one myself, only heard about it online. It isn’t even advertised on the back of the books like all of the other copies. Getting closer to completing a wonderful collection!
(In case you’re wondering, still missing Red Rackham’s Treasure, Explorers on the Moon, Land of Black Gold, Tintin in America and Tintin in Tibet, but hey who’s counting)
