Do you know the feeling of finally getting your hands on a book that you’ve wanted for a long time?
About six months ago I wandered into my local, enormous, largely impersonal book vendor (who for free-marketing sake will remain nameless) and asked if they carried the graphic novel The Pride of Baghdad. Of course they didn’t, but they probably could order it in. I didn’t want to go through the trouble of handing out all of my personal information one more time, so I said no thanks.
Today, after sauntering in to spend a gift card, I noticed it on a wall of other graphic novels. I snatched it up and can’t wait to read it.
