I’m the oldest of four boys. It turns out my brothers are quite talented.
Last night my brother Andrew had a ‘reading’ for a play he has just written. After a busy day and a soccer meeting, I arrived 10 minutes late (story of my life) to the Margaret Parson’s theatre at the Red Deer College to hear some fine art students enacting the story of two families connected by a romance, and damaged by an affair. It was excellent stuff. Apparently Andrew entered a contest at the college for aspiring playwrights. I don’t know the title of the play, but I’ll try to come up with a little bit more information.
My youngest brother Dan is screening a movie he’s been working on about Africa, AIDS and orphans on Friday. Again it’s at the Margaret Parson’s theatre. He’s working with David Youngren, an evangelist from California, and they’re very excited about this project.
Matt and his wife Ashlea have been in Thailand for about two months traveling and working with the impoverished. I’m sure in no time he’ll have published a novel or invented a cure for something.
Way to go boys.
