Star Warts
I like the web site Rotten Tomatoes and due to the new Clone Wars movie being unleashed tomorrow, they have a pretty funny countdown of the worst reviewed Star Wars movie. Who knew (besides the ultra-fans of course) that 1978 saw the Star Wars ‘Holiday Show’. Apparently Star Wars anything was so popular after the original film, that they thought they could pull this off.
I decided to watch a clip just for giggles. It has to be seen to be believed. It is beyond a doubt the worst thing I’ve ever seen on TV. Imagine Han Solo and Chewie desperately trying to get back to the Wookie’s family so that they can be there in time for the Holidays: Life Day. Imagine Chewie’s wife in an apron preparing dinner, while his son Lumpy grunts and shrieks, and his father Itchy sits around looking grumpy. I couldn’t make this up. See it to believe it:
My eyes!!! When Carrie Fisher sings the Life Day carol at the end, I actually threw up into my mouth a little bit.

Carrie Fisher was on copious amount of ACID during that filming which was, btw, all done LIVE.
