Now You See Me, Now I’m Blowing Up Your House
Last month I thought laser guided bombs on tanks were cool. A few months ago I thought weapons that could knock satellites out of the sky were amazing. These weapons have nothing on what the Brit’s are working on.
If you can believe it, by 2012 they’ll have a squadron of tanks that are invisible!
The technology basically films the landscape behind the tank and beams it to the other side. Wow!
According to Professor Sir John Pendry, of Imperial College London the only drawback was the reliability of the cameras and projectors. But he added: “The next stage is to make the tank invisible without them – which is intricate and complicated, but possible.”
